Choir in the Community

Catholic Church Christmas Bazaar - Saturday 25th November 2017

The Choir sang beautifully to a packed Alexander Centre today  - the first of many Christmas performances this year.  They sang a variety of modern and traditional Christmas arrangements to a really appreciative crowd!  Well done to groups of Yr 5 and Yr 6 children who also featured in their first group 'solos'.  Lots of positive comments were received, here's a selection:  "...such magical singing."  "...they are just brilliant!"  "...so beautiful, this has really started off Christmas for us!"    An excellent start to our Christmas concerts.  Well done Choir!  Mrs Lanceley.

St George's Day Celebrations - 23rd April 2017

The choir joined with local residents and the Mayor of Faversham at the Alexander Centre to celebrate St George's Day, where they performed a 20 minute programme of music including tunes from a variety of films and musicals. The children handed sweets around the tables and spent a long time talking with the people there - we received many positive remarks about the children's performance and their interactions with the community. Over 100 OAPs enjoyed the choir's performance and we have already been invited back again next year!

Choir Helps Raise Money for Local Charity at Christmas

The Choir were invited by Tesco, Faversham to entertain shoppers and help to raise money for their local Christmas Charity 2016.  We attracted a large crowd as we sang a variety of Christmas songs and carols - we look forward to helping again next year!

Choir Delights OAPs of Faversham at Christmas

We were invited by the Rotary Club of Faversham to sing in the local community at the OAPs' Christmas lunch on Monday 5th December 2016. The choir sang a selection of Christmas tunes to finish off the celebrations. After singing, the children chatted to members of the community and handed out mince pies!
