All of the documents below are numbered in the order that we have covered them in terms 2, 3 and 4. Typically, we would spend 1 - 3 lessons on one objective depending on the children's pace of learning.
Each document is organised into practice and apply activities. Usually, we encourage the children to start on practice to gain confidence in a new skill, before then applying it to solve a problem, investigate a statement or reason about an idea.
Within each section, you might notice some questions are different colours. Green questions are usually easier and aimed at children working below the expected standard in Year 4. Black questions are pitched at the expected standard in Year 4. Gold questions are harder and aimed at children working above the expected standard in Year 4.
